Warehouse supervisor is to supervise and manage warehouse operational objectives by contributing information and recommendation to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing productivity, quality and customer-service standards, conducting annual inventory as per audit recommendation. You will supervise and manage various kaizen improvement activities in the warehouse and should ensure smooth and safe operations to increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparing and monitoring the methods used for unloading and loading, including proper safety handling procedures.
Directing, auditing and confirming Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) methods based on Warehouse function.
Ensuring that the warehouse and outside areas are kept clean and neat, depicting a professional image at all times. This includes assigning and delegating clean up zones as needed.
Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe work environment
Coordinate inbound/outbound shipment activities
Monitor and direct flow and/or movement of parts to ensure dock rotation and availability.
Overseeing the proper processing of daily orders, spreading workload among the warehouse personnel and directing work groups including inbound loads.
Ensure thorough training/cross-training of all warehouse personnel.
Required Skills:
Capable of writing instructions and documented procedures
Problem-solving and analytical ability
SAP EWM and Microsoft Office application skills.
Understands inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures
Automotive warehouse environment located in Dubai Investment Park (DIP)Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Graduation in any discipline
Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory position preferred
