As the Visual Implementation Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the store’s visual expression aligns with IKEA manuals, thereby fully implementing the IKEA Concept.
Job Duties:
Collaborating with the 1st Interior Designer to create functional and inspiring display solutions that align with ongoing commercial activities.
Working alongside Sales and In-Store Logistics teams to efficiently execute projects and daily sales initiatives using IKEA display solutions, communication strategies, and sales techniques.
Assisting in the planning and execution of the store’s commercial calendar.
Ensuring the cost-effectiveness, safety, and environmental sustainability of display solutions in accordance with local regulations.
Researching and staying updated on home furnishing trends and products within the local market.
Planning and coordinating the setup of accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums, perimeter breaks, self-serve areas, Swedish Food Market displays, and Exit Café displays within the IKEA store.
Upholding the integrity of the IKEA concept and brand by adhering to IKEA manuals to create functional home furnishing solutions within the store.
Skills Needed:
Proficiency in conceptualizing, designing, and effectively conveying home furnishing and retail concepts.
Strong attention to detail coupled with a discerning sense of aesthetics.
Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.
Customer-centric approach, with a focus on individual responsibility, ongoing improvement, personal leadership, and collaboration within a team environment.
Qualifications for the Role:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup, with a mandatory background in design.
Familiarity with Revit is advantageous.
Experience in visual merchandising (VM) or interior design within either a retail or agency setting.
