About the Role

Al-Futtaim Healthcare is seeking a qualified and experienced VIP Registered Nurse in Dubai, UAE, to provide personalised nursing care as part of its Private Medical Services team.

In this role, the successful candidate will accompany physicians on healthcare visits and deliver professional nursing support in private residences, community settings, and hospitality environments. The position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality when caring for VIP and high-profile patients.

The selected nurse will assist with patient assessments, medication administration, clinical monitoring, treatment delivery, and accurate medical documentation. The role also involves building trusted relationships with patients and their families while ensuring compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and established clinical standards.

This opportunity is suitable for DHA-licensed nurses with experience in hospital nursing, private healthcare, community nursing, emergency care, or premium patient services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Care and Clinical Support

  • Accompany physicians during scheduled healthcare visits across Dubai.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in private homes, residential settings, and hospitality environments.
  • Assist physicians with patient assessments, examinations, and treatment procedures.
  • Monitor patients’ health conditions and report significant changes to the treating physician.
  • Support the care of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Deliver personalised nursing care according to individual patient needs and approved care plans.

2. Medication Administration and Health Monitoring

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorised healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and other relevant clinical observations.
  • Recognise changes in patient conditions and escalate concerns promptly.
  • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical hygiene protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with healthcare policies.

3. Patient Education and Communication

  • Explain care instructions, treatment plans, and medication guidance to patients and their families within the scope of nursing practice.
  • Support patients in understanding their healthcare needs and following prescribed care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare colleagues, patients, and family members.
  • Maintain a compassionate, respectful, and patient-centred approach.
  • Help ensure continuity of care through clear communication and appropriate clinical handovers.

4. VIP and Private Healthcare Services

  • Deliver discreet, personalised nursing support to VIP patients, senior executives, and individuals requiring premium healthcare services.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and protect confidential patient information.
  • Adapt nursing care to different residential, community, and hospitality environments.
  • Build positive relationships with patients while respecting their privacy, preferences, and dignity.
  • Represent the healthcare provider professionally during patient visits.

5. Clinical Compliance and Professional Standards

  • Comply with applicable DHA regulations, clinical governance requirements, and organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established reporting procedures.
  • Follow patient confidentiality, infection control, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in relevant training and professional development activities.
  • Maintain current nursing knowledge and clinical competencies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates applying for this VIP Registered Nurse job in Dubai must meet the following essential requirements:

  • A valid DHA licence as a Registered Nurse is mandatory.
  • Currently residing and working in the UAE.
  • At least 3 years of post-registration nursing experience.
  • Previous experience in a hospital, outpatient clinic, emergency department, medical-surgical unit, community healthcare, private nursing, or VIP healthcare setting.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, patient engagement, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Professional appearance and confident communication.
  • High levels of discretion, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Dubai for healthcare visits.
