Job Description
To advise, create and sell tailor made memorable Dubai experiences for UAE based products: tours, attraction tickets, events, lifestyle products and restaurants, with a focus on converting enquiries to sales, achieving sales targets with an incomparable customer service.- Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s various products and services including destination knowledge through continuous learning. Complete trainings on new products/experiences/events as and when they are launched.
– Develop a thorough understanding of the required systems, including booking portal, communication tool and any other role related soft/hardware.
Lead
– Maintain awareness of promotions and incentives offered by the company brand to drive increases in sales,
– Ensure due diligence by always communicating terms and conditions to potential customers.
– Establish and nurture relationships with existing customers and potential new customers to facilitate sales
– Find potential customers through networking and industry research to increase sales
Execute
– Have an in depth knowledge of UAE based tours, tickets and attractions and proactively recommend and select products for customers based on their individual needs explaining the benefits thereof
– Achieve set revenue targets and sales objectives by maximising the best yield/volume mix.
– Ensure all guest bookings are actioned via preferred and agreed business systems including but not limited to Priohub and Trengo.
– Ensure a strong conversion between enquiries received and sales made.
– Up to date product knowledge is key-Sales Consultants must maintain awareness of promotions, incentives, products and Brand collateral to maintain the accolade of being `Dubai Expert?.
– Proactively suggest ideas to improve the operation, products and customer experience to enable the business to be an innovative market leader
– Ability to engage with customers via all channels ? this includes but is not limited too digital concierge (including WhatsApp and website chat), email , telephone and face to face street sales at our dedicated kiosks around the city.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
– O level school qualification
Experience
– More than 3 years of work experience within Travel Business, Commercial and Sales
– Relevant experience in a Sales/Customer Service environment (preferably within a travel environment solutions).
– Experience working with diversified, virtual teams, balancing priorities and staying on top of all tasks.
Knowledge/Skills
– Thorough knowledge of the Dubai and the other surrounding Emirates
– Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Applications.
– Ability to communicate fluently in English.
– Outstanding service and customer oriented behavior.
– Ability to work independently under pressure and as a part of a team.
– Must have highly developed interpersonal and public relation skills to be in a position to liaise with people from different cultures, backgrounds and at different levels.
– Must be able to work independently within the defined parameters.
– Must be able to work under pressure and also to have outstanding organizing skills to co-ordinate various tasks issues simultaneously.
– Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
– Additional languages are an advantage – Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, French, Japanese & Russian
