Are you an experienced Truck Technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical repair? FAMCO, a part of the Al-Futtaim Group and a leading name in the UAE’s commercial vehicle sector, is looking for two skilled professionals to join our high-performance team in Dubai. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on top-tier trucks and ensure they stay road-ready for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in heavy-duty trucks
• Perform component overhauls with precision and quality
• Identify faults quickly and implement efficient solutions
• Use service manuals, diagnostic tools, and equipment effectively
• Provide on-site emergency support and breakdown assistance
• Adhere to service standards and complete jobs “right the first time”
• Maintain productivity and quality through proper tool usage and workflow

What You Bring

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in heavy truck maintenance and repair
• Proficiency in diagnostics and problem-solving
• Ability to work independently on repairs, overhauls, and service procedures
• Solid understanding of truck mechanical and electrical systems
• Skilled in using workshop tools, manuals, and diagnostic systems
• Experience with Volvo Trucks is a strong advantage
• UAE Driving License is a plus

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
• Trade Certificate or Diploma in a related field
• Field service experience is desirable
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ability to thrive under pressure and respond promptly to emergency repairs
