Job Description
Alfanar Electric is looking for a qualified and motivated Site Engineer – Telecommunication to supervise and coordinate telecommunications site activities, monitor project progress, and ensure work is completed according to approved project plans, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with project engineers, site supervisors, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient site execution. The role involves reviewing technical drawings, coordinating resources, resolving site-related challenges, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Operations and Supervision
Monitor daily telecommunications site activities to ensure work follows approved project schedules and technical specifications.
Supervise site operations and coordinate with relevant teams to maintain efficient project execution.
Ensure that all site activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Verify the availability and proper utilization of materials, equipment, tools, and manpower.
Identify operational challenges and support timely resolution.
2. Project Coordination and Communication
Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
Communicate project requirements, technical updates, and site-related instructions to relevant teams.
Report project progress, potential risks, delays, and technical issues to project management.
Support coordination between departments and vendors to maintain smooth site operations.
Follow up on pending activities to ensure timely completion.
3. Project Progress Monitoring
Track daily site progress against approved project schedules and milestones.
Identify delays, resource shortages, and other challenges that may affect project delivery.
Recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines and operational targets.
Maintain accurate records of completed activities, site progress, and outstanding work.
Support project teams in achieving delivery targets within approved schedules and budgets.
4. Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Review and interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and construction work plans.
Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel.
Assist in identifying and resolving technical and operational problems.
Coordinate with relevant engineering teams to address site execution challenges.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved technical requirements.
5. Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and maintain daily site progress reports, activity logs, and inspection records.
Maintain accurate project documentation for monitoring, reporting, and audit purposes.
Record project deviations, technical concerns, and corrective actions.
Provide periodic updates to management on project execution and performance.
Ensure all required documents are completed and submitted within established timelines.
6. Quality, Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project work instructions.
Follow applicable quality assurance and quality control requirements.
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at the project site.
Identify potential risks and support the implementation of appropriate preventive measures.
Promote a safe and organized working environment.
7. General Responsibilities
Complete assigned activities according to project schedules and operational targets.
Utilize manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources efficiently.
Identify operational problems and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Support continuous improvement of site operations and project coordination processes.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
Maintain professional communication and effective teamwork with internal and external stakeholders.
Academic Qualification
– Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Work Experience
2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in site engineering, telecommunications projects, project coordination, or electrical engineering activities is an advantage.
