Job Overview
alfanar is seeking a skilled Telecom / ICT Tender Engineer to support tendering, technical coordination, commercial activities, and project requirements in Saudi Arabia. The position is suitable for an Electrical Engineering professional with experience in telecom, ICT systems, tender preparation, technical documentation, and team coordination.
The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines, quality standards, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Technical Support
- Support the preparation and submission of Telecom and ICT tenders in line with customer requirements and project specifications.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, scope of work, and related requirements.
- Coordinate with internal technical, commercial, procurement, and project teams during the tendering process.
- Prepare accurate technical documentation, reports, and tender-related submissions.
- Identify technical requirements, scope gaps, and potential risks during tender evaluation.
- Assist with preparing technical and commercial inputs required for bids and proposals.
- Support negotiations and technical discussions with relevant stakeholders when required.
- Ensure tender documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within established deadlines.
Team & Management Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to assigned team members.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities according to project requirements and individual capabilities.
- Ensure work is distributed effectively to maintain team productivity and motivation.
- Support training and development activities for subordinates and team members.
- Monitor assigned activities and ensure operational and development targets are achieved according to planned schedules.
- Use available resources efficiently while maintaining required cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Prepare periodic reports covering work progress, planned activities, completed tasks, and deviations.
- Identify operational challenges and resolve issues within the assigned area, escalating complex matters when necessary.
Quality & Process Improvement
- Ensure tender and technical activities comply with applicable quality requirements, specifications, and company procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of effective work processes and quality-control practices.
- Follow approved policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain well-organized records and ensure important tender and technical information is properly documented.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Comply with relevant health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Ensure assigned activities are performed in accordance with applicable legislation, company standards, and established procedures.
- Promote safe and responsible working practices across the team.
- Maintain the required quality and compliance standards for all assigned activities.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Required Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in Telecom, ICT, tendering, engineering, technical proposals, or related project environments is preferred.
- Experience coordinating teams and managing multiple assignments within defined deadlines is an advantage.
