Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Technician to join our Toyota service team. This role is essential in ensuring vehicles are diagnosed and repaired to the highest standards, following Toyota Motor Corporation guidelines. You will be key in achieving Fix It Right (FIR) goals, improving customer satisfaction, and driving service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and repair manuals to inspect and diagnose vehicle issues accurately.
  • Perform General Repairs, Scheduled Maintenance, Advanced General Repairs (AGR), and fitment of vehicle accessories.
  • Consistently meet workshop performance targets, including productivity, sold hours, and utilisation rates.
  • Ensure full compliance with Fix It Right (FIR) processes, as well as 5s and Health & Safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting through Electronic Vehicle Checks (EVC).
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to support excellent Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Document technical issues and submit detailed AGR reports.
  • Adhere strictly to OEM quality standards and work independently without supervision.

What You Bring:

  • Strong diagnostic skills using computerised tools and manual techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to compliance and quality.
  • Effective communication and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
  • Capability to create technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement (Kaizen).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Technical Diploma or Certification (ITI NCVT or ITC).
  • Toyota Certified Technician (mandatory).
  • Diagnostic Master Technician Certification (preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician in a retail automotive environment.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
