Role Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer service while achieving sales and profitability targets. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive performance and business growth. The Store Manager supervises Beauty Advisors, Beauty Specialists, Makeup Artists, and Inventory Controllers, while also managing financial performance through P&L oversight and key performance indicators such as UPT, ATV, SOP compliance, audits, and shrinkage control.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance

  • Drive and monitor store sales to meet or exceed budget targets.
  • Conduct monthly reviews on category performance with the sales team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost sales of exclusive products and evaluate promotional effectiveness.
  • Manage store operating expenses (OPEX), including utilities, supplies, and staffing costs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize controllable expenses.
  • Maintain shrinkage within acceptable limits through regular compliance checks.

Commercial Excellence

  • Ensure timely stock replenishment and effective visual merchandising.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular adjustments.
  • Uphold brand service standards in all customer interactions.
  • Deliver an enhanced shopping experience that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Address and resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
  • Drive loyalty programs and initiatives to increase transactions.
  • Apply effective selling techniques to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure smooth execution of promotions and in-store activities.

Operational Processes

  • Implement company policies, SOPs, and brand standards, including grooming guidelines.
  • Utilize analytical tools and reports to monitor performance.
  • Manage inventory control, loss prevention, and asset protection.
  • Coordinate with mall management and oversee store documentation (reports, banking, etc.).
  • Perform cashiering duties when required.

People Management

  • Develop and track Personal Development Plans for team members.
  • Identify and implement training and development initiatives.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Drive employee engagement through targeted action plans.

Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
