Store Manager

Job Description:
As the Supermarket Store Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the supermarket’s operations to guarantee exceptional service delivery. Your duties encompass maximizing sales and profitability, efficient stock management, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering continuous business expansion. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with supervising and executing improvement strategies to drive progress and success within the supermarket.

Role Profile:
Collaborate with the Head Office and Corporate Office to align the implementation of MAF Retail’s supermarket plans with overarching strategies and procedures.
Utilize both qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess commercial performance, offering recommendations to boost profitability and sales turnover.
Control costs within budgetary constraints to maximize sales and profitability.
Analyze stock and sales reports, taking corrective action as necessary.
Maintain regular communication with Department Heads to ensure efficient stock management, including monitoring stock value, addressing out-of-stock situations, placing orders, and ensuring timely merchandise deliveries.
Audit merchandise plans and layouts to ensure adherence to guidelines and effective implementation.
Provide leadership and guidance to the team to elevate customer service standards and fulfill customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with MAF Retail’s health, safety, and hygiene standards within the supermarket.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years in a Retail Business setting.
Exceptional people and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish relationships across various levels.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Proficiency in problem-solving with a pragmatic approach, along with strong analytical capabilities.
Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills.
