Key Responsibilities

Store Operations Management

  • Assist in managing daily store activities and operational performance.
  • Support the implementation of retail strategies and business objectives.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Sales & Business Performance

  • Support initiatives to increase sales revenue and store profitability.
  • Analyze product performance and customer demand trends.
  • Recommend actions to improve product assortment and sales results.
  • Assist in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability across departments.
  • Support inventory control activities, stock replenishment, and merchandise management.
  • Minimize stock shortages and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction standards are consistently maintained.
  • Support initiatives that improve customer loyalty and shopping experiences.

Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Assist in supervising and motivating store employees.
  • Support training and development programs for team members.
  • Encourage teamwork, productivity, and professional growth.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Store Presentation & Merchandising

  • Ensure merchandise displays follow approved store layouts and visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain attractive and organized store environments.
  • Support promotional campaigns and seasonal merchandising activities.
  • Ensure pricing and product information are accurate and up to date.

Health, Safety & Security

  • Ensure compliance with store safety procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the store.
  • Support loss prevention and security initiatives.
  • Monitor company assets and ensure proper maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Additional retail management certifications are an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail operations, store management, or a similar supervisory role.
  • Experience working within supermarkets, hypermarkets, department stores, or retail chains is preferred.
