Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist Internal Medicine consultations in a busy outpatient clinic.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Independently manage patients with multiple co-morbidities and complex long-term healthcare needs.
- Review and interpret laboratory results and diagnostic investigations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Create and implement chronic disease management programmes.
- Support preventive healthcare initiatives and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and medical records.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide integrated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and professional care.
Essential Requirements
- Valid DHA, DOH (HAAD), or MOH Specialist Internal Medicine Physician licence.
- Minimum 5 years of specialist-level experience is preferred.
- Previous clinical experience in the UAE.
- Strong experience in outpatient Internal Medicine.
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.
- Ability to independently assess and manage chronic medical conditions.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Tagalog language skills are essential for this position.
- Ability to develop and maintain a patient base within a community healthcare environment.
Preferred Experience
- Previous UAE outpatient clinic experience.
- Experience working in a community healthcare setting.
- Experience managing diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular risk, obesity, and other chronic diseases.
- Experience providing healthcare services to multicultural patient populations.
- Strong patient relationship management and continuity-of-care experience.
