Job Overview
Al-Futtaim is looking for an experienced Solution Expert – SAP Treasury to join its Corporate Services team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) solutions across relevant Al-Futtaim entities.
This role involves working closely with Treasury and Finance professionals to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. The position also focuses on improving treasury processes, supporting data analytics, resolving system issues, and exploring opportunities to use artificial intelligence (AI) and automation.
Candidates with strong SAP Treasury expertise, S/4HANA implementation experience, and knowledge of treasury operations are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Management
- Lead the design, specification, and selection of information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance.
- Identify opportunities to use technology to improve business processes and support organizational change.
- Promote the adoption of standardized SAP solutions across different companies and geographical locations while reducing unnecessary custom development.
- Manage and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 incidents and technical problems related to SAP Treasury, including bank connectivity.
- Identify root causes of system issues and coordinate effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams and business stakeholders to support treasury data and analytics initiatives.
- Translate Treasury business requirements into clear data and reporting specifications.
- Identify opportunities to implement AI and automation solutions for treasury operations.
- Support business case development, solution testing, internal controls, and user adoption for AI and automation initiatives.
Leadership and Team Management
- Mentor and guide junior analysts and contractors.
- Help team members plan, prioritize, and manage their workloads effectively.
- Support employee development in line with required technical and professional competencies.
- Encourage high standards of service delivery and continuous professional development.
- Identify and recommend high-potential talent within the Global Technology and Digital Platforms (GTDP) team.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with managers and business stakeholders to maintain effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure stakeholders understand critical issues and coordinate solutions to minimize escalations.
- Contribute to improvements in solution demand and delivery processes, methodologies, procedures, and tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance technology service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Treasury, technology developments, management practices, and relevant industry trends.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong expertise in SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and related SAP solutions.
- Excellent understanding of Treasury business processes, including Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office operations.
- Experience with SAP AI capabilities, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and treasury data analytics.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills.
Education and Experience
- A college or university degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Treasury and Risk Management.
- Hands-on experience in SAP Treasury solution design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, delivery, and support.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Treasury functionality and business processes.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Treasury implementations.
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP S/4HANA Treasury, Finance, and Controlling systems.
- SAP S/4HANA Treasury certification is an added advantage.
