Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate production schedules to maximize manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure raw materials, scrap, alloys, and production consumables are available to support uninterrupted operations.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive and predictive maintenance activities, minimizing equipment downtime.
- Plan, prioritize, and monitor work orders from initiation through completion.
- Determine manpower requirements, materials, timelines, and resource allocation for maintenance activities.
- Prepare purchase requisitions, material requests, store authorization documents, and related production records.
- Maintain accurate work order documentation and monitor maintenance backlogs.
- Review preventive maintenance schedules and recommend updates when required.
- Generate maintenance planning reports, compliance reports, and performance tracking documentation.
- Update spare parts inventory, equipment records, and material master data within the SAP system.
- Assist in preparing departmental reports and operational performance summaries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, Higher National Certificate (HNC), or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Additional certifications in maintenance planning or production management are an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, maintenance planning, or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience working in heavy industries, aluminum manufacturing, recycling plants, or similar production environments is preferred.
- Previous experience using SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of production planning and maintenance coordination.
- Experience with SAP PM, CMMS, or ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
