Al Futtaim Contracting is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of major construction projects in Dubai. This role is responsible for managing project execution from planning through completion while ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver large construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved within approved schedules and allocated budgets.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, design, and construction teams to maintain smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and implement solutions to minimize delays and operational risks.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, and delivery strategies to improve efficiency.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting to achieve profitability goals.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to senior management.
- Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor project teams while promoting collaboration and high-performance standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction project management principles.
- Experience using project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent budgeting, cost control, and financial management skills.
- Ability to assess and manage project risks effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across large construction projects.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are an advantage.
- 12–15 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.
- Proven success delivering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in commercial, residential, or high-rise construction projects.
- Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations, quality management, and project delivery best practices.
