Role Overview
As the Senior Product Manager – Financial Services at Blue, you will own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of our financial services portfolio. This includes payments, remittances, embedded finance solutions, credit propositions, and data monetization initiatives.
You will work closely with engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, and commercial teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and customer-centric products. This role requires deep fintech expertise, strong stakeholder influence, and a proven ability to drive engagement, revenue growth, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision

Define and lead the long-term product vision and roadmap for financial services across the Blue ecosystem.

Identify and evaluate embedded finance opportunities including payments, lending, rewards monetisation, subscriptions, and insurance offerings.

Translate business objectives into measurable product outcomes, KPIs, and success metrics.

Champion customer-first innovation while balancing regulatory, operational, and commercial requirements.
Product Delivery & Execution

Own the full product lifecycle from discovery and PRD creation through delivery, launch, and continuous optimisation.

Partner with engineering teams to prioritise backlogs, manage trade-offs, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Define functional and non-functional requirements covering scalability, security, performance, and compliance.

Drive experimentation through pilots, A/B testing, and iterative enhancements post-launch.
Financial Services & Compliance

Collaborate closely with legal, risk, compliance, and finance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Design secure financial products that integrate KYC, AML, fraud prevention, and data privacy by default.

Manage relationships and dependencies with banks, payment service providers, fintech partners, and regulatory bodies.
Data, AI & Monetisation

Leverage customer data, behavioural insights, and AI-driven signals to personalise financial experiences.

Define and optimise monetisation models including interchange, float income, commissions, subscriptions, and partner revenues.

Use analytics to track funnel performance, improve unit economics, and inform strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder & Partner Management

Act as the single-threaded owner for financial services products across internal teams and external partners.

Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to develop partner propositions and go-to-market strategies.

Present product roadmaps, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Required Skills

Proven expertise in defining and executing product strategies within fintech or financial services.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Qualifications

12+ years of product management experience, including 3–5 years in fintech or financial services.

Strong knowledge of payments, wallets, rewards, or embedded finance ecosystems.

Proven track record of launching and scaling consumer-facing digital products.

Hands-on experience working with engineering, design, and data teams.

Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks including KYC, AML, PCI, and data privacy.
