Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional seeking a leadership role in the UAE? Primark is hiring a Senior Manager – Fire, Health & Safety to support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across its retail operations.

In this position, you will lead the implementation of health and safety strategies, conduct workplace inspections, oversee fire risk assessments, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE safety regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of health, safety, and fire safety initiatives across retail stores, offices, and distribution facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive Health & Safety reviews and Fire Risk Assessments in accordance with company standards.
• Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare detailed accident investigation reports and ensure timely completion of required documentation.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety policies, legal requirements, and internal procedures.
• Deliver health and safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees and management.
• Support the development and improvement of the company’s Health & Safety Management System.
• Participate in safety-related projects to enhance workplace standards and reduce operational risks.
• Collaborate with business leaders to promote a proactive safety culture across all locations.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of occupational health, fire safety, and workplace risk management.
• Excellent accident investigation and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience conducting health and safety audits and fire risk assessments.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Health & Safety experience within a retail or multi-site business environment.
• Proven experience developing health and safety policies and business systems.
• Experience delivering Health & Safety training programs.
• NEBOSH General Certificate is required.
• HSE Diploma, NVQ, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification is preferred.
• Additional certifications in Fire Safety, Construction Safety, Food Safety, or Business Auditing are an advantage.
• Excellent English communication and business reporting skills.
