We are looking for an experienced Senior Inspection & Reliability Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will lead condition monitoring initiatives, oversee rope access inspection activities, and enhance the reliability, safety, and performance of cranes and industrial equipment. This role requires expertise in predictive maintenance, equipment diagnostics, and reliability engineering while working closely with clients and technical teams to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Condition Monitoring & Reliability Engineering

  • Develop, implement, and manage condition monitoring programs for cranes and industrial equipment.
  • Perform vibration analysis, thermographic inspections, ultrasonic testing, and other predictive maintenance techniques to evaluate equipment health.
  • Analyze condition monitoring data to identify performance trends, detect potential failures, and recommend preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Install, configure, and optimize condition monitoring systems to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports covering inspection results, equipment condition, maintenance recommendations, and reliability improvements.
  • Recommend engineering modifications and maintenance strategies to increase equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities based on inspection findings.
  • Keep up to date with the latest reliability engineering practices, predictive maintenance technologies, and industry standards.

Rope Access Inspection Management

  • Coordinate and supervise Rope Access (RAT) inspection teams for crane inspections across domestic and international project sites.
  • Plan inspection schedules, allocate resources, and ensure inspection projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Ensure inspection activities comply with industry regulations, client requirements, and company quality standards.

Training & Technical Support

  • Deliver technical training programs on condition monitoring techniques and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Provide guidance to maintenance personnel on interpreting monitoring data and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the installation, calibration, and commissioning of monitoring equipment in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Conduct inspections and operational activities in accordance with international safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Support risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Client Relations & Professional Representation

  • Build strong relationships with clients by delivering high-quality technical support and inspection services.
  • Represent the company professionally during interactions with customers, suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain ethical business practices while promoting company values and delivering outstanding customer service.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and equipment diagnostics.
  • Experience managing rope access inspection activities is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cranes, heavy lifting equipment, or industrial machinery.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of international safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Willingness to travel for inspection and client support activities when required.
