Job Overview
alfanar Electric is looking for an experienced Senior HSE Engineer to join its team in Dubai. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe and compliant work environment by implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring workplace safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of HSE regulations, workplace safety standards, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct HSE risk assessments and identify workplace hazards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local HSE regulations.
- Perform routine site inspections, audits, and safety reviews.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety.
- Review engineering documents to ensure safety requirements are incorporated.
- Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Deliver HSE awareness programs and safety training for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and assist with root cause analysis.
- Prepare HSE reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor safety performance and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
- Work closely with project and engineering teams to promote a strong safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant HSE experience.
- Strong understanding of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain HSE documentation.
