Job Overview

Al-Futtaim is looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support its Corporate Services functions in Dubai, UAE. This senior HR role will partner closely with executive and business leaders across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Audit, Procurement and Communications.

The Senior HR Business Partner will provide strategic HR leadership and help align workforce and talent initiatives with business objectives. The role covers organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, employee engagement, Emiratisation, HR governance and people-cost management.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR generalist and business-partnering experience, strong knowledge of employee relations and change management, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support complex organizational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

People Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness

  • Develop and implement people strategies aligned with corporate business objectives.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify workforce priorities and organizational challenges.
  • Lead organization design, operating model and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Support leadership teams through business transformation, restructuring and organizational change.
  • Provide practical HR advice to ensure people decisions support long-term business performance.

Workforce Planning and Optimization

  • Lead workforce planning activities across Corporate Services functions.
  • Analyze workforce requirements, organizational structures and capability gaps.
  • Support restructuring initiatives and recommend efficient organization models.
  • Use workforce data and analytics to improve productivity, capability and people-cost management.
  • Ensure workforce plans are aligned with current and future business requirements.

Talent and Leadership Development

  • Lead the talent management agenda across the assigned business functions.
  • Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning for critical and leadership positions.
  • Identify high-potential employees and support their career and capability development.
  • Partner with leaders on performance management and development decisions.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and senior leaders on people-related matters.

Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior and executive management.
  • Provide strategic advice on workforce, talent, organizational and employee-related matters.
  • Anticipate people risks and recommend appropriate solutions before issues impact business performance.
  • Challenge and influence leadership decisions from a people and organizational perspective.
  • Translate business priorities into effective HR strategies and initiatives.

Employee Relations, Culture and Engagement

  • Provide senior-level guidance on complex employee relations and workplace matters.
  • Support a positive culture built around accountability, collaboration and employee engagement.
  • Strengthen employee experience across the Corporate Services organization.
  • Advise managers on performance, conduct and employee relations issues.
  • Identify organizational risks and support appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Promote a workplace environment aligned with company values and people practices.

Emiratisation and National Talent Development

  • Support the development and implementation of sustainable Emiratisation strategies.
  • Integrate UAE national talent attraction, development, retention and succession into workforce planning.
  • Partner with business leaders to build strong national talent pipelines.
  • Support career development and leadership opportunities for UAE national employees.
  • Monitor workforce requirements and ensure national talent initiatives support long-term business needs.

HR Governance, Reward and People Costs

  • Provide senior oversight of HR policies, governance and people-related processes.
  • Review reward and compensation proposals to ensure commercial sustainability and policy alignment.
  • Monitor people costs and challenge proposals where appropriate.
  • Manage HR exceptions in accordance with company policies and governance standards.
  • Ensure HR decisions balance employee needs, business objectives, risk and commercial considerations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner within a complex organization.
  • Experience leading or managing HR teams is preferred.
