A leading industrial organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Senior Environment Superintendent to lead environmental management initiatives and ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and corporate sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the implementation of environmental policies, procedures, and management systems across plant operations.
- Ensure all environmental activities comply with UAE regulations, international environmental standards, and company policies.
- Lead environmental monitoring programs and recommend improvements to reduce environmental impact.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for operational activities and new projects.
- Manage greenhouse gas (GHG) data collection, analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate internal environmental audits and support external compliance and sustainability audits.
- Investigate environmental incidents, prepare reports, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance related to emissions, waste management, water usage, wastewater treatment, and environmental permits.
- Coordinate inspection, testing, and maintenance of environmental protection systems to ensure operational reliability.
- Develop and deliver environmental awareness and compliance training for employees and contractors.
- Perform workplace environmental inspections and identify opportunities to improve environmental performance.
- Maintain accurate environmental records, reports, and documentation.
- Build positive working relationships with government authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Supervise and mentor environmental team members while promoting continuous professional development.
- Support sustainability initiatives and contribute to the organization’s environmental performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSEQ) management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in environmental management within a large industrial, manufacturing, metals, mining, energy, or heavy engineering environment.
- Previous experience in the aluminium industry is considered an advantage.
