Key Responsibilities
Machine Learning & AI Development
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions.
- Build predictive models that improve business performance and customer experience.
- Develop and optimize Generative AI applications for automation and intelligent decision-making.
- Evaluate and enhance model accuracy, scalability, and performance.
Data Science & Analytics
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Transform complex business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Perform exploratory, predictive, and statistical analysis.
- Present insights and recommendations that support business strategy.
Data Engineering & Modeling
- Design and maintain scalable data models for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data quality and accessibility.
- Develop reliable data pipelines that support machine learning workflows.
- Ensure accurate data collection, processing, and governance.
Experimentation & Performance Measurement
- Design and evaluate A/B tests and other experimentation frameworks.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product and business success.
- Monitor model performance and recommend continuous improvements.
- Support business teams with data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product managers, software engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Support innovation initiatives by introducing modern AI technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- A postgraduate qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
- Experience developing AI-powered solutions for digital products or technology platforms is preferred.
- Experience working in fast-paced technology or consumer-focused organizations is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and model development.
- Advanced SQL programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Keras, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Generative AI technologies.
- Knowledge of Hugging Face Transformers and model fine-tuning.
- Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and experimentation techniques.
- Experience with BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud technologies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Airflow or data pipeline development tools is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
