Senior Cost Accountant will assist and support the Plant Controller in management of inventory, Cost and Fixed assets in compliance of company’s policies and procedures and ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided for planning, controlling and decision making.

Responsibility:
Maintain fixed asset system for accounting, processing, and reporting the assets.
Checking completeness and accuracy of fixed assets sub ledger and month end closing activities such as account reconciliations, journal entries and adjustment.
Ensuring timely update of standard cost of inventory related to items and all direct cost element.
Monitoring and coordinating physical inventory counts across all locations of the business unit.
Reviewing in detail inventory related invoices and ensure their accurate and timely execution.
Providing accurate and timely cost working SKU-wise profitability assessment and formulation changes to relevant functions.
Performing month end closure of financial books of business unit in smooth and timely manner and in accordance with group financial policies and procedures.
Checking in detail monthly inventory reconciliations to ensure their accuracy and compliance with group financial policies and procedure.
Reviewing obsolete/slow moving/nonmoving inventories.
Actively managing and coordinating daily costing activities of business unit to ensure smooth execution of business and adherence to group financial policies and procedures.
Assisting Finance team in execution of all financial audits.
Following up on air/sea freight, import, export clearance
Providing necessary support to Reporting functions and FD for variance analysis and cost/expense reconciliations related to costing functions during the month-end/budget/MYF/QBR/etc. and as when requested.
Preparing and submit reports/information requested by HO Finance/Reporting function/FD in accurate and timely manner.

Job Details:
Excellent MS office skills.
6-7 years’ experience, plus technical certifications as required, should have completed all necessary professional/ operational training at advance level.
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – ACCA / CPA / CA.
