We are looking for a Senior Chassis Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete chassis design process from concept development to production release.
- Develop and update 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Coordinate engineering change requests and maintain design documentation.
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, testing, and supplier teams to ensure production-ready designs.
- Support prototype builds, validation testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency through continuous design optimization.
- Participate in project planning and ensure engineering milestones are achieved on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in chassis design within an automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier environment.
- Strong knowledge of chassis systems, structural engineering, and vehicle dynamics.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software and engineering documentation.
- Understanding of CAE simulations and engineering analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFMEA.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in automotive product development processes.
- Engineering change management experience.
- Supplier coordination and technical review experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for chassis components.
- Ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Strong documentation and technical reporting skills.
Salary
AED 10,000 – AED 12,000 per month
