Roles:
To lead and support the Airport operational readiness for the development and rollout of flydubai airport systems and Departure Control System (DCS) supporting the design, execution and implementation of all airport systems and initiatives.
- Job Details:
Participates in the implementation of enhancements and projects, highlighting any risks identified and mitigation strategies. - Works with internal teams to ensure automation and procedures remain in sync and create new procedures through automation where possible.
- Prepares release notes to educate end users with their requirements and documents / communicates processes changes for Airport Systems including load control and pax handling systems.
- Coordinates closely with internal stakeholders on any operational changes related to the airport and potential system disruption and works to update concerned systems accordingly to enable other department to plan their resources effectively.
- Works closely with IT/Solution providers to provide user requirements; review solutions, support UAT and prepare test plans from an operations perspective – while ensuring business continuity and minimum downtime.
- Acts as support for the end user community on functional clarifications, supporting them on all functional queries while providing workarounds for application functionality to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Acts as both a subject matter expert in system related irregularities during check-in and boarding analyzing how the discrepancy or shortfall could have occurred as well as a functional expert in business process mapping and system validation.
- Sets up local Departure Control Systems (DCSs) at outstations (when flydubai’s DCS cannot be set up) and provides support to all outstations, solutions/recommendations to their system related queries, issues, and requests as and when needed.
- Delivers Airport systems survey at airports prior to start of operations and offers advanced insights, feedback, analysis, and recommendations on aspects related to airport operations and airport check-in applications/DCS.
- Conducts analysis of airport related data in a timely fashion to ensure effective decision making.
- Identifies opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes, Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting within the Airport Services Team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
Degree in Statistics or Business Data Science preferred)

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
