Emirates is seeking a customer-focused and experienced Senior Airport Services Agent in Karachi, Pakistan to support airport operations and deliver exceptional passenger service. This opportunity is suitable for aviation professionals with experience in passenger handling, check-in, boarding, reservations, ticketing and ground operations.
The successful candidate will help ensure smooth airport operations, maintain high service standards and provide passengers with a safe, comfortable and seamless travel experience in line with Emirates’ operational policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Passenger Services and Airport Operations
- Provide professional passenger assistance at check-in counters, transfer desks, boarding gates and special service areas.
- Support premium passengers and monitor queues to maintain efficient passenger flow.
- Assist with excess baggage, travel document verification, visa-related queries, delays and denied boarding situations.
- Deliver timely assistance to passengers while maintaining Emirates’ customer service standards.
2. Boarding and Flight Coordination
- Coordinate boarding activities, including announcements, boarding priorities and passenger document checks.
- Support staff briefings and baggage verification procedures.
- Complete post-flight reconciliation and ensure all required flight documentation is accurate.
- Coordinate with ground handling agents and airport service providers to support safe and on-time flight departures.
3. Baggage and Customer Support
- Monitor baggage arrival processes and assist passengers with missing, delayed or damaged baggage.
- Coordinate Emirates Chauffeur-drive services where applicable.
- Handle passenger enquiries and complaints professionally.
- Support service recovery initiatives during flight disruptions and help maintain customer satisfaction.
4. Administrative and Team Support
- Assist the Airport Services Manager, Officer and Supervisor with daily operational and administrative tasks.
- Support staff roster preparation, attendance monitoring and operational record maintenance.
- Assist with invoice processing, stationery management and coordination with external service providers.
- Contribute to the induction and onboarding of new team members.
- Provide frontline operational support during staffing shortages and assist with reservations and ticketing when required.
Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Senior Airport Services Agent position with Emirates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Minimum O Level qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: At least three years of airline industry experience, particularly in airport passenger services or outstation operations.
- Professional Training: Recognised training in passenger services and handling, ground operations, reservations, fares or ticketing.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Departure Control Systems (DCS), Computerised Reservation Systems (CRS), check-in procedures and passenger handling.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English and the local language.
- Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Personal Skills: Strong communication, organisation, customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Work Authorisation: Candidates must have the right to live and work in Pakistan.
