Job Purpose
The SAP Solutions Architect Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end SAP solution architecture, with a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA. The role involves defining scalable technology architectures, translating business requirements into functional and technical designs, and supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership across the SAP landscape, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and introduce modern technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve business performance and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Solution Architecture and Design
Lead the design and development of end-to-end SAP solutions across multiple business functions and industry requirements.
Define scalable, integrated, and sustainable solution architectures with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
Translate complex business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical solution designs.
Ensure SAP solutions align with customer objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and implementation requirements.
Provide expert guidance across SAP applications, technologies, and enterprise systems.
Evaluate architecture options and recommend suitable solutions based on business needs and technical requirements.
Ensure solutions support long-term business growth, system integration, and operational efficiency.
2. Solution Design and Commercial Support
Develop complete SAP solution proposals covering technical architecture, implementation approaches, project costs, and resource requirements.
Lead solution architecture activities for complex proposals, tenders, and competitive business opportunities.
Prepare and present solution designs, technical recommendations, and business value propositions.
Explain solution benefits, technical capabilities, competitive advantages, and expected business outcomes.
Evaluate technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and alternative approaches before finalizing solution designs.
Collaborate with commercial and business development teams to prepare competitive and commercially viable SAP proposals.
Ensure proposed solutions are technically practical, financially competitive, and suitable for successful delivery.
3. Project Mobilization and Delivery Alignment
Support the transition of approved SAP solutions from architecture and design stages to project mobilization and implementation.
Coordinate with global delivery teams to ensure approved solution architectures are properly understood and implemented.
Provide technical and architectural guidance throughout the SAP project lifecycle.
Review implementation progress to identify architecture gaps, technical dependencies, and potential delivery risks.
Work closely with project managers, technical consultants, and delivery teams to maintain solution consistency.
Support implementation quality and ensure delivered solutions meet agreed technical and business requirements.
Assist with stabilization activities and resolve architecture-related challenges when required.
4. Stakeholder Advisory and Collaboration
Engage with business leaders, IT teams, commercial departments, and delivery stakeholders to understand business priorities.
Act as a trusted advisor on SAP architecture, enterprise systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
Conduct solution workshops and technical discussions to identify requirements and align stakeholders.
Present architectural options, recommendations, risks, and business implications to decision-makers.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and technology stakeholders.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Influence important technology and solution decisions through technical expertise and business understanding.
5. Innovation, Automation and Technology Leadership
Evaluate emerging technologies, modern SAP tools, automation solutions, and artificial intelligence applications.
Identify opportunities to improve SAP solution quality, project delivery, and operational performance through innovation.
Promote modern SAP architecture standards, reusable solution frameworks, and best practices.
Explore opportunities to integrate AI and automation into SAP solutions and business processes.
Monitor developments in SAP technologies and enterprise application architecture.
Contribute technical expertise and thought leadership to the SAP community and wider technology environment.
Develop differentiated SAP solutions that support business growth and competitive positioning.

Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Development, or a relevant field.
Strong academic and technical foundation in enterprise applications, systems engineering, and software architecture.
Work Experience
6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in SAP solution architecture, SAP implementation, enterprise application design, or technology consulting is relevant to this position.
Practical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and integrated enterprise solutions is important.
Experience supporting complex SAP proposals, solution design, and digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.
