A leading organization is seeking an experienced SAP Solutions Architect Manager in Saudi Arabia to lead the design and development of end-to-end SAP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA. The role involves providing strategic and technical leadership across the SAP landscape, supporting digital transformation initiatives, complex proposals, and large-scale solution development.
The successful candidate will work closely with business, technical, commercial, and delivery teams to design scalable SAP architectures that address business requirements and deliver measurable value. The position also involves exploring automation, modern technologies, and AI capabilities within SAP solutions to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Solution Architecture
- Lead the design of end-to-end SAP solutions across various business functions and industry requirements.
- Develop scalable, secure, and integrated solution architectures with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical solution designs.
- Ensure SAP solutions align with customer objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and delivery requirements.
- Provide expert guidance across SAP applications, technologies, and solution architecture.
Solution Design and Commercial Support
- Develop complete solution approaches covering technical architecture, implementation strategy, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
- Lead SAP solution development for complex proposals, tenders, and competitive bids.
- Present proposed solutions, business benefits, technical differentiators, risks, assumptions, and expected outcomes to stakeholders.
- Evaluate alternative solution approaches and provide recommendations for major architecture decisions.
- Ensure proposed SAP solutions are practical, commercially competitive, scalable, and deliverable.
Project Mobilization and Delivery
- Support the transition of approved SAP solutions from the design stage through project mobilization, implementation, and stabilization.
- Work with global delivery teams to ensure the approved architecture is properly understood and implemented.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the SAP project lifecycle.
- Review implementation progress and identify design gaps, technical dependencies, and potential risks.
- Ensure project delivery remains aligned with the agreed SAP solution architecture and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management and Advisory
- Engage with business, technical, commercial, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor on SAP architecture, digital transformation, and technology decisions.
- Lead solution workshops and facilitate alignment on major architectural decisions.
- Use strong consulting and influencing skills to support complex business and technology decisions.
- Explain SAP technical concepts, architecture options, and business value clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
SAP Innovation, Automation and AI
- Evaluate emerging SAP technologies, automation solutions, modern tools, and AI capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to improve SAP solution quality, operational efficiency, and business value through innovation.
- Promote modern SAP architecture practices and reusable solution frameworks.
- Contribute to SAP technology strategy, thought leadership, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Develop differentiated SAP solutions that provide competitive and measurable business advantages.
General Responsibilities
Delivery and Performance
- Execute planned activities according to operational and project delivery schedules.
- Use available resources efficiently to achieve business objectives within agreed cost and time requirements.
- Prepare periodic reports covering planned activities, execution progress, and deviations.
Problem Solving
- Identify and resolve SAP solution and operational issues.
- Escalate complex technical, architectural, or delivery challenges to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Support root-cause analysis and recommend effective solutions.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure SAP solution designs and development activities meet defined quality standards.
- Support the development and implementation of effective quality control processes.
- Review solution and process specifications to ensure consistency with business and technical requirements.
Business Process Improvement
- Support the development and maintenance of documented systems, policies, procedures, and work processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive activities and improve operational efficiency.
- Promote continuous improvement across SAP solution development and delivery processes.
Compliance, Health and Safety
- Follow applicable organizational policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of appropriate controls to maintain safe, compliant, and high-quality operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
Experience
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in SAP solution architecture, SAP consulting, systems engineering, or enterprise application design.
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and end-to-end SAP solution architecture.
- Experience supporting SAP transformation programs, solution proposals, and complex technology projects is preferred.
