Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Sales Supervisor to lead day-to-day showroom sales operations in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for supervising Sales Executives, managing customer leads, supporting vehicle deals, and ensuring the team achieves sales, finance and insurance (F&I), and trade-in targets.
The Sales Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership on the showroom floor, coach sales team members, monitor sales pipelines, support complex negotiations, and ensure customers receive a professional brand-standard experience. The position requires strong automotive retail sales knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to improve team productivity and conversion performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership
- Lead daily showroom sales activities through team briefings, target reviews, and activity planning.
- Allocate walk-in customers, digital leads, and key accounts based on workload and team performance.
- Coach Sales Executives on product knowledge, customer engagement, sales techniques, and objection handling.
- Monitor individual and team sales performance against monthly objectives.
- Maintain discipline in showroom processes, attendance, customer follow-up, and daily sales activities.
- Motivate the sales team to achieve unit sales, F&I penetration, trade-in, and profitability targets.
Deal Support and Sales Conversion
- Assist Sales Executives with complex, high-value, or sensitive customer negotiations.
- Support the closing of vehicle sales and help resolve customer objections.
- Approve discounts, F&I proposals, and trade-in valuations within delegated authority.
- Conduct second-level customer follow-ups when required to improve conversion opportunities.
- Ensure vehicle deals are structured correctly while protecting profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Review pending deals and take appropriate action to support timely closures.
Sales Pipeline and CRM Management
- Monitor lead response times, sales pipelines, bookings, test drives, and pending deals.
- Ensure customer leads are captured accurately and updated consistently in CRM or DMS platforms.
- Track individual conversion rates and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Implement coaching and corrective action when sales performance falls below expectations.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity records.
- Ensure consistent follow-up throughout the customer buying journey.
Customer Experience and Showroom Operations
- Maintain showroom presentation, vehicle displays, and demonstration vehicle readiness according to brand standards.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and coordinate timely solutions.
- Work with F&I, vehicle handover, and aftersales teams to provide a smooth customer experience.
- Promote a customer-focused sales culture across the showroom.
- Monitor customer satisfaction indicators, including NPS and CSV performance.
- Ensure customers receive accurate product, pricing, financing, and trade-in information.
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering sales activity, team performance, pipeline status, and conversion results.
- Ensure vehicle sales documentation is complete and accurate.
- Verify compliance with OEM, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure KYC and financing documentation is completed according to applicable procedures.
- Maintain organized customer records and deal files for audit purposes.
- Follow company policies, brand standards, and internal sales procedures.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field.
- Relevant automotive sales or management qualifications are an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 3–6 years of automotive retail sales experience, preferably within a franchised dealership.
- 1–2 years of experience in a Sales Supervisor, Sales Team Leader, Senior Sales Executive, or similar leadership position.
- Proven experience in achieving automotive sales targets before moving into a supervisory role.
- Experience managing showroom sales activities and coaching sales teams.
- Experience working in a high-volume automotive retail environment is preferred.
Technical and Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive retail sales processes.
- Proficiency in CRM and Dealer Management Systems (DMS) for lead management, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of F&I products, vehicle financing, trade-in valuations, and automotive sales documentation.
- Ability to analyse sales performance data and develop improvement actions.
- Strong negotiation, communication, customer-service, and team-management skills.
- Ability to work under sales targets and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid Saudi Arabia driving license.
