Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training programs for employees and contractors.
- Conduct induction training to familiarize new employees with company safety policies, procedures, and environmental practices.
- Plan daily training activities based on scheduled training rosters and participant lists.
- Assess trainee knowledge through written tests, practical evaluations, and workplace observations.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance reports, and assessment documentation.
- Inspect safety training equipment regularly and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Share lessons learned from previous workplace incidents to improve hazard awareness and accident prevention.
- Support the achievement of departmental training KPIs by delivering high-quality training on schedule.
- Assist with equipment-related safety training and other operational training programs when required.
- Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of HSE training materials and course content.
- Participate in special projects and additional training assignments as directed by the management team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
- External training or instructor certification is preferred.
- Professional experience in delivering health and safety training programs.
Experience Required
- 4–6 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or as a Safety Trainer.
- Previous experience in a port, logistics, marine, or industrial operations environment is highly desirable.
