Role Overview:

The Retail Sales Representative is key to driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role involves maintaining store standards, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting daily store operations as directed by the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Environment: Maintain a clean and organized store by adhering to cleanliness and visual presentation standards.
Customer Service: Offer exceptional service by being knowledgeable about product categories, providing professional advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Customer Interaction: Make a strong first impression with an energetic attitude and professional appearance, and greet customers warmly upon entry.
Operational Support: Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing the store, managing store operations in the manager’s absence, and overseeing security measures.
Training and POS Management: Train new staff on Point of Sale (POS) operations, handle corrective actions at the POS, and address any customer issues to ensure smooth service.
Product Information: Provide customers with up-to-date information about products and ensure compliance with pricing and ticketing procedures to prevent discrepancies and protect against losses.
Fitting Room Service: Deliver quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, and maintain cleanliness at the cash wrap while attempting to increase sales.
Cash Wrap Efficiency: Offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information accurately in the database.
Customer Appreciation: Thank customers sincerely as they leave the store and invite them to return.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

  • Attend all store meetings and related functions.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward merchandise, the brand, and the company.
  • Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by store management.
  • Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.
  • Adhere to all assigned responsibilities and perform tasks as directed by management.
  • Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
  • Work flexibly and collaboratively with peers and management to achieve goals.
  • Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in the watch industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Strong personality with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of accountability and reliability.
