Retail Sales Manager

Travelex is one of the world’s leading foreign exchange specialist, with over 40 years experience serving millions of customers.

It includes retail sales management of onsite stores and ATMs. The role will lead Team Managers and the person will be responsible for managing and coaching their direct reports to achieve revenue and profitability targets. The role will drive sales, customer service, operational controls and manage the P&L. This role has overall accountability for sales, operations, and customer service for a wide variety of business and its’ associated P&L.

  • Responsibility:
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to get things done
  • Accountable for inventory and margins
  • Manage walk up retail KPIs including ATMs
  • Managing profitability / EBITDA
  • Support in airport and landlord relationship management
  • Day-to-day account management of corporate customers
  • Manage product launches and promotions.
  • Support the General Manager in financial analysis, reporting and planning
  • Manage communication for staff and management.
  • Undertake Company training within required timescales & of the entire team
  • Retail Delivery & Excellence
  • Execute operations in line with standard operating procedures and coach staff on operating
  • disciplines – adhere to Company and location policy and procedures, including ATMs, Audit, Risk,
  • Health & Safety, Security and Retail requirements.
  • C.A.R.E – Observations and Action Plan implementation along with L&D team
  • Optimum utilization of headcount, efficiency of roster, review shift patters as per the changing
  • needs of the business, overtime cost review & any other cost saving initiative.
  • Leading the Talent Management program to ensure Leadership Bench strength for responsible areas.
  • Review and analyze the performance of Team Managers, Team Leaders & Sales Consultant’s and
  • support improvement actions as well as making sure that these measurements are implemented to
  • drive growth and ensure accountability.
  • Streamline and standardize retail operation standards to enhance operation efficiency and improve retail productivity.
  • Support General Manager in maximizing the profitability of DXB T3 by managing projects that
  • increase productivity, decrease complexity and ensure regulatory compliance across all stores.
  • Represent DXB T3 at Travelex’s Regional and Global forums sharing and learning best practices.
  • Always maintain Store Visual Excellence
  • Take ownership of new initiatives to ensure delivery on time and within the agreed objective.
