Your duties will also include reviewing and improving the day to day operations, processes, way of working, and monthly balance sheet schedules. You will be the key point of contact for the internal and external audits. Reporting directly to the R2R Tower Lead, you will manage a team and have responsibility for delivery on defined FSSC processes covering: accounting, reporting, financial controls, tax and law compliance and effective month end closing.
Job Roles:

Provide technical IFRS support to the business on all financial accounting matters
Lead any process changes or new process implementation within the Record to Report function in conjunction with Record to Report Tower Lead
Perform accurate and timely consolidation for the Group subsidiaries and all related sub-consolidations on a quarterly basis. Ensure it is reviewed by Business Unit and reporting deadlines to the holding company are met
Oversee the activities related to month end closing for all assigned entities to ensure timely and accurate closing
Escalate accounting issues to R2R Tower Lead for 1st point of contact for resolution
Provide on the job training and guidance to accountants and senior accountants to optimize their performance, including monitoring workloads to ensure timely completion of activities and
Ensure team maintain all accounting records as required by IFRS, tax and company laws in the relevant countries business operate. These are to be made available as and when requested
Ensure all required reconciliations are prepared timely and as per policy
Requirement:
Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Good written and oral communication skills – Fluent English
Team building perspective
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting is a must
Minimum 8 years’ experience in General Ledger and Statutory Accounting. Having work in a Big 4 Audit firm is recommended
Supervisory experience is necessary. Work in a shared services environment is desired
