Job Role:
The primary focus of the role will be to develop and support process expertise on logistics business processes encompassing freight, warehouse, finished vehicles, general transport, passenger transport and relocations.

Job Responsibility:
Ensure compliances to legal, regulatory, quality and statutory requirements by internalizing the compliance checklist. Developing a quality assurance checklist and a systematic process review and value identification approach, including standardized checklist of evaluation steps to ensure consistency in quality and inspections
Defining, implementing and updating the Integrated Management System by interfacing with the GM’s / Business Sector Manager/ Operations Manager
Conducting periodic internal audits and assisting operations in closure of the internal audit / external audit / customer audit/ Group internal audit findings
Accountable for overarching framework design for how operating processes are captured, reviewed and deployed, creating an efficient delivery pipeline that engages people throughout each stage to drive buy in and accountability
Develop and support process expertise on logistics business processes encompassing freight, warehouse, finished vehicles, general transport, passenger transport and relocations
Facilitate the business functions to define objective aligned with ISO and set goals and targets that measure and deliver quality
Conduct a process mapping exercise across logistics operations in collaboration with subject matter experts
Document the process flow and detailed standard operating procedures & E-Learning. Implement SOPs across the functions and ensure regular reviews of the process for necessary updates
Assess the Policy, SOPs/ SLAs across operation, recommend best practices and provides tools for its implementation
Implement a robust governance process in place to maintain the SOPs in an up-to date manner
Quick turnaround to changing business environment and its reflection on processes
Manage escalations and provide support to train and develop SOP and ISO awareness
Ensure best practices are rolled out to all the entities / locations / facilities
Regularly assess and report the maturity level of the organization in comparison to best international practices such as ISO, AEO, GWP and GDP practices
Ensure compliance to customer audits and responsible for the effective undertaking, open collaboration, transparency and enable success outcomes. Maintain neutral position and integrity in communicating the audit findings, issues, challenges and risks to line manager and senior management
Drive system and process improvements within the logistics operations in UAE and overseas

Continuous review of front-end business and core processes to identify opportunities for digitization and implementing changes in operations to make it more
efficient, effective whilst strengthening the risk management and compliance
Use six sigma techniques to identify efficiencies, eliminate redundant and duplications of process steps/activities
Quantification and attribution of fiscal values to the work undertaken in process assessment to link the cost, efficiency and quality benefits
Look at modern day tools and techniques for implementation in the existing or new business / logistics processes
Collaborate with respective functions across business, center of excellence and support functions for world class services
Define, manage checks and measure processes for ensuring adherence to operating standards.
Using raw data sources to data mine, analyze and create visually appealing KPI reports with strong story telling result-oriented outcome
Baselining using data and analyze and demonstrate quantifiable improvements in performance, productivity, revenue, cost, utilization or quality
Assess the SLA’s with customers, define KPI calculations and provide data that contribute to insights that will improve the KPI performances for customers
Identify and inform management of process efficiency opportunities and propose solutions.
Devise training and development plans for associates relating to quality assurance compliance and new regulations and logistics functional work streams
Deliver the internal training to staff to enhance the process and ISO standard management.
Create training guidelines and demo trainings for customers and associates
Manage necessary mock drill and emergency drill framework trainings

Required skills :
Well versed in Power BI, Power App and Power Automate
Microsoft certified in Alteryx, Azure, Data verse
A Data Science or Computer Engineering University Degree or Master’s Degree is preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ overall experience in a multinational environment in logistics, manufacturing or food industry

About the team
Reporting to the Head of Customer Solutions, Marketing and Quality and will support the logistics business such as freight, warehouse, finished vehicles, general transport, passenger transport and relocations.

Highly skilled in operational process planning and execution, with clear examples of leading operational teams in the planning and delivery of continuous improvement backlogs (+ training functions desirable)
