- Conduct root cause analysis using methods such as 8D problem solving, 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
- Coordinate containment, segregation, rework, repair, replacement, and disposition of non-conforming products.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring quality problems.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure issues are resolved within agreed deadlines.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, maintenance, purchasing, and suppliers to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
4. Automotive Quality Standards and Compliance
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and applicable customer-specific requirements.
- Ensure manufacturing and inspection activities comply with approved specifications, quality procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate supplier corrective actions and follow up on recurring material or component defects.
- Work closely with production teams to identify quality risks and prevent defects during manufacturing and assembly.
- Support process improvements that reduce scrap, rework, production delays, and customer complaints.
6. Quality Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track key quality performance indicators, including defect rates, first-pass yield, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and supplier performance.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular quality reports, inspection summaries, audit findings, and corrective action updates.
- Maintain records of statistical process control, process capability studies, measurement system analysis, and quality improvement activities.
- Provide technical guidance and quality awareness training to production operators, inspectors, technicians, and other relevant personnel.
