As the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Manager, you will ensure that all products and services meet the highest quality standards, minimizing quality costs and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will ensure strict adherence to established procedures and processes, promptly identify and address QHSE issues, and resolve them swiftly to maintain zero impact on customers. Collaborating with your team, you will develop and implement best practices focused on defect prevention, reduction of variation and waste, and continuous improvement to meet all customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System:
Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures, risk assessments, and quality forms.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to establish FMS and IMS procedures.
Support management in supply chain oversight and compliance with QHSE standards.
Audit and review operating practices and systems for adherence to QHSE standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
Continuously monitor and ensure compliance with QHSE requirements and regulations imposed by government and semi-government entities.
Liaise with government and semi-government entities for QHSE-related audits, inspections, and requirements.
Process Improvement:
Conduct process gap analysis to identify and implement corrective measures.
Maintain strict control over QHSE expectations to ensure all required standards are applied.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Attend client quality management meetings to represent QHSE interests.
Prequalify vendors and subcontractors based on QHSE requirements.Quality Audits & Inspection:
Conduct site audits, inspections, conditional assessments, vendor audits, and re-evaluations.
Ensure QHSE standards comply with applicable procedures and standards.
Perform internal audits according to QHSE procedures, identify non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on them and site inspection reports until closure.
Prepare detailed internal audit reports with relevant statistics.
Contribute to the preparation of look-ahead plans for upcoming audits.
Conduct material quality inspections and submit reports.
Training & Development:
Support training and development initiatives to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSE standards and their relevance to business objectives.
Conduct QMS induction and awareness training for technicians, supervisors, and engineers.
Prepare and distribute supporting documents related to new publications for ease of understanding.
Develop training documents and presentations; maintain training records, forms, and records of training hours.
CAFM and Field Service Management Software:
Develop, update, and adjust processes and procedures to align with the CAFM process, ensuring all workflow processes are current and reflect actual working practices.
Lead in clarifying and resolving CAFM-related queries for internal and external users.
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement to simplify and enhance operations.
Regularly perform health checks on the system, report problems, identify faults, and liaise with the IT department and software developers to resolve operational issues, keeping the operations team updated.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs, and follow up with teams to achieve KPIs and SLAs.
QHSE:
Contribute to the development of safe work systems and the quality management system by ensuring all work practices comply with relevant safety standards.
Implement all HSE policies, safe operating procedures, and safe work instructions (toolbox talks) to prevent potential incidents.
Develop, review, and maintain QHSE monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Maintain records, reports, and registers of audit findings.
Required Skills for Success:
Identify and address process gaps; prepare workflow processes and procedures.
Develop method statements and risk assessments for various maintenance activities.
Analyze reactive service complaint statistics and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Identify the training needs of team members and coach and guide the team for better employee engagement.
Prepare and maintain various documents, such as inspection reports and handover reports.
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
5 years of experience in the FM industry, specifically in quality control and quality assurance.
