Job Details:

The primary business development focus will be in the assigned geographic areas or industry segments as may be applicable. Sales Manager is responsible for managing the complete sales life cycle of all project opportunities. The role requires interaction with clients, developers, project managers, and various contractors to sell the full Sanipex Group range of sanitary and plumbing products. From initial contact through to completion of project the sales manager will own client relationships with all project stake holders ensuring that they are the first port of call for any further opportunities and guaranteeing service levels throughout the project. The role involves regularly liaising with internal support departments and selling as part of a team.

Achieve sales, contribution margin and order intake targets for personal industry segment or geographic area.

Update and maintain CRM data to ensure that the sales pipeline is kept accurate and meaningful through regular updates and realistic opportunity close dates.

Take responsibility for the commercial aspects of price negotiation and project supply throughout the course of a project until full and final payment has been received.

Generate new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships with contractors, developers, and any other relevant project stake holders through regular and ongoing contact.

Respond in a timely and professional manner to all customer enquiries.

Manage the creation of quotations and product proposals using the full Sanipex Group product portfolio considering project budget levels and design requirements.

Maintain ongoing contact with all project stakeholders through frequent and regular site visits.

Manage the technical submittal and approval process using various resources within the business to enhance opportunities for success.

Provide, either directly or indirectly, installation advice and technical support as may be required on a project.

Network and build relationships within the general project fraternity.

Attending relevant industry events.

Build and maintain exceptional product knowledge facilitating the proposal of the most appropriate solutions whatever the project requirement or design brief.

Share latest developments with the wider project division facilitating ongoing seamless communication to ensure the best chance of success.

Key skills:

Ability to work to deadlines and perform accurately in pressure situations.

Strong personality, presentation skills and hands on mentality.
A degree in business studies, economics, engineering (or equivalent) desirable, but not essential.

Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.

A proven track record of technical sales / sales management within the construction / building related industry in a competitive specification market.

Attention to detail and accuracy are key requirements.

Ability to work and contribute within a team environment.

Computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Microsoft office; experience with any major ERP system an advantage.

A high level of commercial understanding; fully conversant with both the practical and financial aspects of international business.

Fully numerate with an understanding of contribution margins and discounts.

Familiarity with western business culture and ethical foundations preferably coupled with experience living and working in the Arab world or comparable international experience.

Willingness to perform such tasks outside of the core function as and when necessary to fulfill departmental goals and objectives.
