Primary Requirements:
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
Experience with managing projects with project management tools
Proven work experience as a project coordinator or project manager
In-depth understanding of Software engineering and enterprise IT systems.
Able to prepare project status reports

Role Responsibilities:
Get approvals based on approval matrix for release plan timelines plotted in a Gantt or similar
Communicate timelines and provide project/product status report based on identified cadence (daily, weekly depending on the project)
Ensure FRD requirements are approved by all key stakeholders before assigned to Engineering
Coordinate to ensure there are no blockers and the right stakeholders are connected in a timely manner
Conduct sprint planning with Engineering based on the approved requirements
Create tasks in a project management tool called ClickUp and assign to Engineering
Report on the sprint progress and provide sprint retrospective report
Get sign-offs for deployment of new features
Be the main point of contact for Engineering based on the assigned product
Ensure development testing completed by internal teams are completed and issues raised are addressed to avoid delays
Prepare release notes based on the releases of that week and overall month

Skills and Qualifications:
Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
Understanding of ERP implementation.
Budget management experience
A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of the insurance industry and related regulations.
