Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production In-Charge – Fire Rated Steel Doors to lead manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient production of high-quality fire-rated steel doors. The successful candidate will oversee daily workshop activities, manage production teams, maintain quality standards, and ensure products are delivered on time while complying with safety and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise the production of fire-rated steel doors to achieve daily production targets and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate all workshop activities, including cutting, welding, fabrication, assembly, glazing, hardware installation, painting, and final quality inspection.
• Develop production schedules, assign manpower, and monitor workflow to maximize productivity.
• Ensure manufactured products comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable fire-rating requirements.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and components to verify quality before production begins.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Lead, supervise, and train production staff while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment to reduce downtime.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure materials and drawings are available when needed.
• Prepare production reports that include output, manpower utilization, production efficiency, and project progress.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce material waste, and enhance overall productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental policies while maintaining a clean and organized workshop.

Technical Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and production documents.
• Apply knowledge of steel fabrication, welding processes, metal finishing, and surface preparation techniques.
• Understand the manufacturing requirements necessary to produce certified fire-rated steel doors.
• Verify the correct installation of door hardware, hinges, locks, seals, and accessories to ensure product performance and durability.
• Support prototype development, product testing, inspections, and corrective actions to maintain manufacturing quality.
• Assist with continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and product reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production supervision, steel fabrication, or related industrial operations.
• Previous experience in steel door manufacturing or metal fabrication is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing, and quality inspection processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and engineering documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience using production reporting systems and digital tools for manufacturing tracking.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and travel to project sites when required.
