Job Role:

This primary focus of the role will be to coordinate for competitive buy rates with carriers and other key stakeholders and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies.

Job responsibility:
Development of Pricing / Tender Management
Effectively communicate with carriers and build relationships with key decision makers
Coordinate, facilitate and drive winning tender and implementation processes
Be able to acknowledge and understand company capabilities and identify improvement areas where needed
Manage the timelines and submission dates effectively
Trade lanes analysis and development
Manage and respond to spot quotation requests in line with customer’s need for FCL, LCL, Air, OOG (including Project cargo)

Required skills:
Experience in pricing and tender management
Clear understanding of multiple modes and services within the transportation and logistics industry
Well versed in EDI software such as Cargowise
Knowledge in customs regulations of UAE and Jafza

About the team:
This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager – Sea Freight and will collaborate with main stakeholders in line with pricing desk processes and requirements.

Educations:
Should be flexible to work out of office hours as per business requirement
Good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Operations Management or business related.
At least 2 – 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding company with experience in pricing and quoting
