Job Role:
As an Automotive Aftermarket Pricing Specialist, my primary responsibility revolves around devising and executing tailored pricing strategies for our corporate clients within the automotive aftermarket sector. This involves conducting thorough market analysis, assessing competitor pricing strategies, and incorporating customer feedback to optimize profitability while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. I work closely with various departments to ensure alignment and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to consumer transactions. Upholding regulatory compliance is paramount in my role. I excel in balancing pricing competitiveness with profitability in consumer interactions, a critical aspect of achieving success in this position. Additionally, I handle inquiries from both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) channels, including Saturdays.

Role Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to devise and execute pricing strategies tailored for automotive aftermarket products and services, ensuring alignment with overarching company goals.

Assist the B2C Pricing Manager in conducting comprehensive financial impact assessments and translating complex data into easily understandable visualizations for stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.

Offer pricing expertise and assistance to the sales team, addressing inquiries, facilitating negotiations, and pinpointing opportunities for enhancing standardization and refining processes.

Develop robust processes and tools for monitoring and analyzing pricing queries, system discrepancies, and the efficacy of responses, with a focus on ensuring accurate vehicle model pricing within online platforms.

Document pricing scenarios, ad-hoc inquiries, and workaround solutions, while also modeling the potential impact of various factors such as customer behaviors and product assortment variations.

Collaborate closely with the sales team to gather feedback on pricing challenges and pinpoint areas ripe for improvement.

Conduct regular reviews of pricing strategies for Tier 1 business segments, implementing necessary adjustments and promotional initiatives to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.

Vigilantly monitor and rectify any pricing errors, ensuring that profit margins remain in accordance with established business frameworks and leveraging pricing software solutions as needed.

Provide support during biannual price revisions by setting prices within SAP and APP systems, validating gross margins, and identifying system enhancements necessary to accommodate new pricing policies.

Drive efforts to automate and streamline the price-setting process, aiming to enhance both efficiency and accuracy in pricing operations.

Necessary Skills:
Demonstrated expertise in pricing analysis, particularly within the automotive sector.
Exceptional analytical abilities enabling interpretation of data and extraction of actionable insights.
Practical experience utilizing visualization tools like Tableau to present data effectively.
Proficiency in various data analysis tools and software, ensuring adeptness in handling complex datasets.

About The Team
Reporting to the Pricing Manager you will be working in a dynamic and busy After Sales environment wherein you will be dealing directly with different Stakeholders across the organization.


Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics, coupled with practical experience in any of these fields.
Proficiency in programming beyond basic scripting in a contemporary scientific language is highly desirable.
Prior experience in distributor and OEM environments would be advantageous.
Familiarity with automotive aftermarket products and services is considered a beneficial asset.
