Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Development
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies for power and water products and solutions.
- Align prequalification and prescription activities with the company’s business objectives.
- Monitor changes in customer, consultant, and end-user requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the power and water sectors.
- Monitor sales and marketing plans and prepare progress reports with recommendations for improvement.
Pre-Qualification Management
- Lead the implementation of prequalification strategies and processes.
- Ensure technical documents and submissions meet customer and market requirements.
- Monitor approvals, specifications, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate prequalification submissions.
- Develop processes and tools to improve prequalification performance.
Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor market trends and developments across the Saudi power and water sectors.
- Conduct customer and stakeholder visits to understand current and future market requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential market segments.
- Analyze market data and support short-term and long-term market forecasting.
Customer & Consultant Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with end users, consultants, clients, and other industry stakeholders.
- Support customers adopting alfanar’s power and water products and solutions.
- Communicate technical and commercial information clearly to stakeholders.
- Address customer requirements and coordinate internally to provide effective solutions.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and develop the prequalification and prescription team.
- Set clear objectives and monitor individual and team performance.
- Encourage a professional, collaborative, and results-oriented working environment.
- Support employee development and build a strong pipeline of future team leaders.
Business Planning & Reporting
- Translate corporate objectives into practical business plans and initiatives.
- Monitor performance against agreed targets and take corrective actions when required.
- Prepare regular reports covering progress, performance, opportunities, and challenges.
- Monitor budgets and expenses to support cost-effective business operations.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Develop and improve business processes related to prequalification and prescription activities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and improved use of business systems.
- Maintain high standards of quality across all activities.
- Support a safe, secure, and compliant working environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in power, water, utilities, project sales, prequalification, or technical specification activities is preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of customer requirements and market development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver business objectives within agreed timelines.
