ROLE SUMMARY

The Planner supports the Senior Planner and Planning Manager in analysing and managing multi-dimensional plans, including sales performance, gross margin, and inventory levels. Working closely with Buying, Store, and Logistics teams, the role focuses on maximising regional retail profitability through effective range planning, allocation, replenishment, and in-season trading. The Planner ensures optimal stock availability while identifying opportunities to improve sales performance and inventory efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right location, and at the right time to meet business and customer demand.

  • Plan and manage end-of-season clearance and markdown strategies to achieve targeted sell-through while protecting margin objectives.

  • Support and execute departmental markdown plans, including promotional activities such as gift-with-purchase, multi-buy offers, and product re-pricing.

  • Monitor logistics and freight costs by country, identifying and escalating any risks or negative impacts on margins.

  • Track warehouse service levels and collaborate with Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of stock and efficient stock transfers.

  • Support inventory allocation, replenishment, and delivery plans in line with agreed range and sales strategies.

  • Contribute to the business’s sustainability initiatives in line with the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow strategy.

  • Analyse customer profiles, buying behaviour, and market trends to inform stock and assortment decisions.

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to enable effective communication, coordination, and follow-up actions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in a Planner role within a fashion retail environment.

  • Proven experience in OTB management, inventory optimisation, and in-season trading.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.

  • Excellent to fluent English communication skills.
