Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly analytical and strategically driven International Performance & Planning Manager to join our Automotive Aftersales team. In this critical role, you will lead the business planning, forecasting, and performance governance of our international market areas. Your goal will be to enhance business performance, develop market-specific strategies, and support revenue and profitability targets across the region.
This position requires a data-focused mindset, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence key stakeholders while managing performance metrics across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Strategic Planning
- Develop accurate, market-specific forecasts aligned with global revenue and gross margin objectives.
- Integrate market intelligence to improve regional planning and execution.
Performance Management
- Analyse weekly forecasts, challenge assumptions, and identify performance gaps.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIS), revenue, and gross margins; provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Deliver trend analysis reports across all markets to identify growth or underperformance patterns.
Reporting & Analysis
- Consolidate performance reporting for monthly, quarterly, and strategic business reviews.
- Create detailed market-specific performance visualisations and dashboards for leadership review.
Market Research & Recovery Strategies
- Conduct in-market research to guide strategic direction and campaign development.
- Design recovery plans for underperforming regions, ensuring alignment with performance objectives and KPIS.
OPEX & CAPEX Oversight
- Control operating and capital expenditure across international market regions in line with budget forecasts.
- Evaluate future investment needs related to business expansion and operational improvements.
Customer Experience & Network Quality
- Monitor and evaluate customer service levels by brand and market.
- Identify underperformance trends and drive corrective action plans to maintain service excellence.
Stakeholder & Partner Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with market area partners and local management teams to foster operational alignment and long-term business success.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinker with strong business planning capabilities (short and long-term).
- Data-driven with deep analytical skills and financial literacy.
- Proficiency in interpreting financial statements and linking them to commercial outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive performance through measurable KPIS.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business planning, forecasting, or performance management within OEM/OES or automotive aftermarket environments.
- Experience in international markets and after-sales business operations is highly advantageous.
