Job Purpose
The OT Cybersecurity Solutions Manager will lead the development, engineering, positioning, and delivery of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity solutions for customers and projects in Saudi Arabia.
The role is responsible for overseeing solution development, technical pre-sales, engineering, technology selection, vendor management, and project integration. The manager will ensure that OT cybersecurity solutions are technically robust, scalable, commercially competitive, and aligned with customer requirements and industry standards.
The position also provides leadership to technical, engineering, and pre-sales teams while supporting business growth and the development of advanced OT cybersecurity capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
OT Cybersecurity Solution Development
- Lead and oversee the technical development of OT cybersecurity solutions.
- Review and approve proof-of-concepts (PoCs), technical architectures, and solution designs.
- Ensure cybersecurity solutions are customized according to customer, project, and site requirements.
- Evaluate emerging OT cybersecurity technologies and recommend suitable solutions.
- Guide technology selection and vendor evaluation activities.
- Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and commercially viable.
Technical Pre-Sales and Proposals
- Lead technical support for RFPs, RFQs, tenders, proposals, and customer bids.
- Review technical requirements and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Develop and validate technical solution architectures, scopes, assumptions, and deliverables.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, exclusions, and implementation requirements during bidding.
- Support customer meetings, technical workshops, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Work closely with sales and business development teams to develop competitive OT cybersecurity proposals.
- Support sales forecasting and solution planning based on market and customer requirements.
Engineering and Project Integration
- Oversee technical site surveys, assessments, and OT cybersecurity risk evaluations.
- Ensure a smooth transition of approved solutions from pre-sales into project execution.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams during system integration and implementation.
- Review technical deliverables and ensure solutions meet approved designs and specifications.
- Support the resolution of complex technical issues during project implementation.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams when required.
OT Cybersecurity Vendor and Technology Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with OT cybersecurity technology vendors and strategic partners.
- Evaluate cybersecurity platforms, tools, products, and technologies for suitability.
- Approve recommended OT cybersecurity solution components in line with business and project requirements.
- Ensure vendor technologies meet customer specifications, technical standards, and project objectives.
- Monitor technology developments and identify opportunities to strengthen the company’s OT cybersecurity portfolio.
Team Leadership and Capability Development
- Lead and manage OT cybersecurity technical, engineering, and pre-sales teams.
- Define technical competency requirements for OT cybersecurity roles.
- Identify skills gaps and develop appropriate training and capability-building plans.
- Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing technical professionals.
- Establish clear performance expectations and support employee development.
- Promote collaboration between cybersecurity, engineering, sales, project management, and technical teams.
- Build a strong technical talent pipeline and develop future leadership capabilities.
Business Planning and Performance
- Translate corporate objectives into practical OT cybersecurity business and operational plans.
- Develop annual and strategic plans for solution development, sales support, technology adoption, and capability development.
- Monitor business and technical performance against agreed targets.
- Identify corrective actions and improvement opportunities to strengthen results.
- Prepare periodic management reports covering progress, performance, risks, and key initiatives.
- Monitor budgets and expenses to achieve effective cost management and operational efficiency.
Customer and Market Development
- Build strong relationships with customers, technology partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Understand customer cybersecurity challenges and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support market research and identify emerging OT cybersecurity opportunities.
- Contribute to sales and marketing strategies for OT cybersecurity solutions.
- Support sales planning, pipeline development, and forecasting activities.
- Position the company’s OT cybersecurity capabilities effectively within the Saudi Arabian market.
Business Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain effective policies, procedures, systems, and processes for OT cybersecurity solution development and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to automate technical and business processes.
- Promote effective use of IT systems and digital tools across the function.
- Continuously improve solution development, pre-sales, engineering, and project handover processes.
- Adopt new technologies, techniques, business models, and management practices that improve business performance.
Quality, Risk and Compliance
- Maintain high standards of quality across OT cybersecurity solutions and technical deliverables.
- Ensure proposed and delivered solutions meet customer requirements and applicable cybersecurity standards.
- Identify and proactively manage technical, commercial, operational, and project risks.
- Ensure appropriate controls are implemented to protect OT environments and customer systems.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and solution records.

- Ensure a safe, secure, and legally compliant working environment.
- Follow applicable health, safety, environmental, and organizational requirements.
- Ensure team members and project activities comply with relevant safety procedures and controls.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant field.
- Professional certifications in cybersecurity, OT security, networking, or related technologies would be an advantage.
Work Experience
- 10–15 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, OT cybersecurity, industrial automation, IT/OT infrastructure, solution engineering, technical pre-sales, or a related field.
- Strong experience leading technical teams and developing enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
- Experience in OT environments, cybersecurity solution architecture, system integration, and technical proposal development is preferred.
- Experience working with cybersecurity technology vendors and customers is highly desirable.
