Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage daily operational activities across production, maintenance, quality, and support functions.
- Ensure operational plans are executed according to business targets, schedules, and customer requirements.
- Monitor operational performance and resolve issues related to productivity, delivery, cost, quality, and safety.
- Coordinate with internal departments to maintain smooth business operations.
Production & Performance Management
- Monitor production progress and ensure delivery targets are achieved on time.
- Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and operational resources.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges, delays, and workflow issues.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, efficiency, downtime, quality, safety, and cost.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, company procedures, and industry regulations.
- Promote workplace safety and implement health and safety practices.
- Support corrective actions for quality issues and non-conformities.
- Maintain workplace discipline, housekeeping standards, and 5S practices.
Resource & Cost Management
- Manage operational resources to achieve maximum efficiency and cost optimization.
- Support cost reduction initiatives by minimizing waste, downtime, and operational losses.
- Assist in budget planning and control operational expenses.
- Improve manpower planning and resource allocation.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and service quality.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.
- Support implementation of new systems, technologies, and best practices.
Team Leadership & Reporting
- Lead, motivate, and develop operations teams to achieve business objectives.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Prepare operational reports, performance analysis, and improvement recommendations.
- Communicate operational priorities and challenges with management.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant engineering field.
Experience:
- 6–10 years of experience in operations management, manufacturing, electrical industry, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing production, maintenance, quality, and operational teams.
