Job Details:
Business Analysis
Perform operational and financial analysis ensuring business profitability; present findings and recommendation to Managers (impact of business changes, sales, costs, efficiencies)
Prepare project investments updates (as applicable)
Assist in preparation of Deliver Review (KPI table, Zoom subjects) to ensure target delivery
Support the annual external audit. Provide supportive documents or analysis.
Support business operations
Serve as the “go to” person for ALGH operational Financial questions (incl. ERP related)
Review POs against budget and Financial dimensions to ensure proper business analysis
Check Sales invoices against agreed prices and other terms
Ensure operational controls & operations are in compliance with company policies and best practices (invoice checking, PtP, stock quantity measurement)
Assist team members with new vendor set ups and PO processing
The position of Operations Controlling is part of the Finance department overseeing Helium activities and covers activities such as reporting/business analysis, consolidation, accounting, internal control, treasury and corporate finance matters, working closely with teams within and outside UAE.
Reporting & Target/Forecast
Support the monthly closure process to ensure correct P&L for ALGH (esp. Helium sales & sourcing, accruals, internal backcharges) including cost & profit center split and KPIs
Prepare respective reporting and Flash comments incl. variance analysis (Single Month and YTD vs. Last year and last forecast) meeting requirements from Management / Cluster and Group (Iris M-forms,)
Prepare bottom-up target and forecasts, coordinate with respective Managers and ensure consistent & realistic figures
Ensure correct tracking and invoicing of Helium Sales (quantities and price) through mass balance reconciliation (with customers, GPS container readings) together with the Supply Chain team
Analyze variances and root causes to minimize losses
Follow up customers’ payments and overdue.
