A leading organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Manager – Technical Services & Aftermarket to oversee aftersales operations for its Fire Fighting Vehicles division. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, maintenance services, warranty management, spare parts operations, and customer service while driving aftermarket business growth and ensuring maximum fleet availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical service and aftermarket operations for fire fighting and emergency response vehicles.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve aftersales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage commissioning, preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, breakdown support, and warranty services.
  • Supervise service engineers, technicians, workshop teams, and regional field service personnel.
  • Monitor service performance through KPIs such as response time, fleet availability, first-time fix rate, and service profitability.
  • Provide technical guidance on fire pumps, foam systems, hydraulic equipment, vehicle electrical systems, and emergency vehicle technologies.
  • Coordinate warranty claims, technical investigations, and product improvement initiatives with engineering and quality teams.
  • Expand aftermarket revenue through Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), spare parts, vehicle upgrades, retrofits, refurbishment, and technical training programs.
  • Build strong relationships with customers across government, airport, industrial, civil defence, military, and municipal sectors.
  • Prepare service budgets, monitor operational costs, and improve overall departmental efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, safety regulations, and OEM service requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • MBA or Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications in Service Management or Project Management are preferred.

Experience Required

  • At least 10 years of experience in technical service, aftermarket operations, or maintenance management within commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, defence vehicles, or emergency response vehicles.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing technical service teams.
  • Previous experience with fire trucks, ARFF vehicles, hydraulic systems, or specialized automotive equipment is highly desirable.
  • International service management experience within GCC or global markets is a plus.
