Job Role:
The Manager – Organization Design & HC Projects is responsible for vetting and overseeing organizational design across Majid Al Futtaim Retail while collaborating with Country Human Capital teams to build workforce and talent archetypes which enable greater business synergies. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the HC Organizational strategy through effective project management and collaboration with the Human Capital teams in the respective countries, and overseeing the effective implementation of Organizational Effectiveness special projects across the organization while ensuring efficient data capabilities across Majid Al Futtaim Retail.

Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with Total Rewards team to ensure roles are evaluated/graded correctly.
Maintain the global workforce plan including expansion to ensure the optimal organizational design and business archetypes.
Ensure the appropriate role profiles index availability as per guidelines, maintain and update whenever necessary, and communicate changes with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure and contribute to ongoing process improvements aligned with a lean and robust mindset to ensure continuous performance improvement.
Create and support the development of compelling workforce stories and actionable insights through human capital business intelligence and data visualization.
Develop data-driven analysis to support decision strategic decision making for HC and Business initiatives, including organization mobility & career evolution of employees to fuel the proposed organization designs, archetypes, and pipelines.
Enhance the capability to analyze and “make sense” of large sets of data and translate findings in a visually appealing manner that tell a story and help us make better data driven decisions.
Engage and collaborate with cross-functional experts across all business units.
Support the design of HC Dashboards across all HC functions and countries.
Collaborate with members of HC to identify, standardize and implement data & analytics solutions, including enhanced tools and process improvements.
Participate in the development and implementation of the Data Governance function partnering with key stakeholders.
Partner globally with the HCBPs across the countries to ensure proper data visualization and data driven insights regarding new initiatives and group wide projects.
Partner closely with Talent Management team to ensure high-performing talent in key roles talent through data driven insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with the countries to recommend structures in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives and Human Capital vision.
Partner globally with the HCBPs across the countries to ensure proper change management for new initiatives and group wide projects.
Partner with functional leaders on organization effectiveness and planning initiatives such as developing operating models, manpower planning and organizational structures.

Project Management
Review information related to operational projects and preparation of reports and dashboards on progress, achievements and project performance metrics
Monitor progress and minimize actual and potential delays to the project
Creating ad-hoc reports and presentations for management periodically (HC Operation Meetings, REC Meetings)
Highlight risks associated with potential delays or deviations from milestones, and propose corrective actions towards achieving goals
Manage the interaction with internal departments and across countries to ensure that all internal stakeholders are aligned and informed for project success
Liaise with vendors and related third parties that may be involved with the project delivery
Monitor and direct the implementation of Human Capital goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards where applicable for the assigned project
Comply with all applicable local regulations and Human Capital Policies
Develop governance framework to assure the progress of long term projects

Human Capital Responsibilities:
Develop and implement on the job-training for the team
Provide inputs for the development of annual manpower plan
Ensure the implementation of MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures
Assist with the implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior management
Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements

Financial Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications/education
Professional HR Certification such as CIPD and/or SHRM is preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Capital Management
Master’s Degree is preferred

Minimum experience
3+ years in Retail or similar industry.
8+ years of relevant experience in a Human Capital/OD role
