Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day chassis assembly operations to ensure production schedules are met.
- Supervise assembly teams and provide guidance to improve productivity and performance.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products meet engineering and quality standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce production waste.
- Track production performance using key metrics such as output, cycle time, equipment utilization, and product quality.
- Work closely with supply chain, planning, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to support uninterrupted production.
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and workplace efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare production reports and communicate operational performance to senior management.
- Maintain accurate production records and support process documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive chassis assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate production teams.
- Experience in lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of ERP, MES, or other manufacturing management systems.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
- Professional certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are considered an advantage.
- Experience leading high-volume manufacturing or assembly operations is preferred.
Salary
AED 18,000 – AED 20,000 per month
